HOME, 2020 was selected by the National Gallery Singapore to be projected on their central veiled canopy to commemorate Singapore’s 55th year of independence and our spirit of resilience during the challenging year of 2020.
Inspired by Life By The River by Liu Kang (1975), HOME depicts blocks of brightly coloured HDB flats in various designs. The work illustrates Singapore's changing and evolving landscape over time while paying homage to our ever-present community spirit.
